Wing King Corporation of America was incorporated in 2001 in Florida, USA and is affiliated with the REMCO Companies which originated in Wisconsin in 1958 and relocated corporate headquarters to Florida in 1965. Over the years REMCO has evolved into an innovator of cutting edge food processing equipment with a focus on speed, operational efficiencies & energy savings. In 1992 the REMCO Open Cavity Infrared Rotisserie debuted at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago. It was acclaimed as revolutionary in its cooking process; and was subsequently adopted by Kenny Rogers Roasters, Miami Subs and Cluckers Wood Roasted Chicken and many others. In the mid-1990's the company began designing a non wood-burning brick oven for the pizza industry and by 1998 the REMCO Millennium 2000 Carousel Brick Oven was awarded First Place at the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show as the Best New Product in food service equipment highlighting it's ability to perfectly cook a pizza in 90 seconds, requiring no hood. The company quickly secured such high profile clients as Disney, Penn State University, Cornell University,Copper Mountain Resort, Storyland Theme Park, the Georgia Dome & Spinaci's at the Ft. Lauderdale Int'l Airport to name a few. The Wing King Flame Roasting Rotisserie is REMCO's latest addition to its line of unrivaled, innovative cooking equipment. It was developed for foodservice operators to provide them with a less costly, more efficient means of producing healthier, tastier chicken wings but prerelease testing demonstrated a versatility which surprised its designers, as ribs, kabobs, sausage, steak fries, vegetables, frozen appetizers and snacks have all proven suitable for preparation within the solar-energy environment of the Wing King. The Wing King was formally introduced at the NRA show in Chicago May of 2002 after a US patent was allowed. It immediately earned the attention of industry giants like Tyson Foods & Perdue Farms, Manhattan Ribs is currently evaluating a Chinese concept around the Wing King. Remco has patent pending in Europe and Asia for the Wing King. With it's low consumption of energy (15,000 -20,000 BTU's) it's ideal for cooking large quantities of food with a very small amounts of energy. Furthermore, Wing King Corporation has been approached by entrepreneurs, for a concept built around the Wing King for possible licensing and/or franchising. Also the possibility of exclusive sales territories for the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America are under study. The incredible versatility and economy make the Wing King a likely candidate for world wide distribution and use. 2002 © Wing King Corp. of America. All rights reserved.
